Wallingford School pupils have been enjoying placements at a number of different firms for their work experience.

Civil engineering firm HR Wallingford, which works with water, welcomed year 10 pupils Oliver and Fred, who helped out in their laboratories.

James and Stanley worked in menswear at Reading's John Lewis, while Lucy was an assistant at Mr and Mrs Park's family butchers in Cholsey.

A spokeswoman for Wallingford School said: "We are incredibly grateful to our local community for hosting our Year 10 students during work experience week.

"Their annual support and feedback is so valuable to each and every student – thank you!”
